What’s On at St Bartholomew’s

Services

Sunday services at St Bartholomew’s are held at 9:30am.  Our services are usually quite traditional in style with good singable hymns.  The usual pattern of worship is:

1st No service, unless specifically advertised on Internet/Church noticeboard.

2nd Sunday of the month: 0930 Holy Communion (from the Book of Common Prayer)

3rd No service, unless specifically advertised on Email/Website/Church noticeboard.

4th No service, unless specifically advertised on Email/Website/Church noticeboard.

5th Sunday of the month: Joint benefice service with the other three churches*

* Joint benefice services are hosted by one of our three churches on a rota basis.  The start time depends on the location.  Check out the latest notices for details.

Our biggest service of the year is our Christmas Carol service which attracts people from the village and way beyond.  In recent years, we’ve been delighted to welcome Wellington (Telford) Brass Band to this service, which combines the traditional with the fun… plus excellent refreshments!

Heritage

Being adjacent to the ruined Moreton Corbet Castle, St Bartholomew’s often receives a lot of visitors.  Our church is usually open during daylight hours.
